About Harri Tora Scholars

The HaAri Torah Scholars have embraced a beautiful and profound tradition of giving, inspired by the teachings of Rabbi Isaac Luria, the HaAri, whose legacy centers on spiritual unity and kindness. Every week, they organize and personally deliver packages of food to the families of Kabbalists in the holy cities of Hebron and Zefat, two of Judaism's most sacred centers of mysticism and spiritual growth.

These scholars see this initiative not just as an act of charity, but as a fulfillment of the Kabbalistic principle of "tikkun olam" (repairing the world). By supporting families who dedicate their lives to the study and practice of Torah and Kabbalah, they ensure that the flame of divine wisdom continues to burn brightly in these historic communities.

The food packages are carefully prepared with dignity and respect, containing essentials and, often, festive items to enhance the recipients' Shabbat and holiday experiences. Beyond material aid, this weekly gesture represents a bridge between the practical and the spiritual—a reminder that acts of kindness are as integral to divine service as prayer and meditation.

In Hebron, the resting place of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs, and in Zefat, the city of mystical song and meditation, this act of giving echoes the values of unity, compassion, and humility taught by the HaAri himself, weaving a timeless connection between past and present.

We believe all families can embrace who they are, can define their future, and can contribute to the world.
